The Action “EU Foreign Policy Facing New Realities” (ENTER) aims to improve our understanding of central properties of EU foreign policy in light of these new realities, focusing on perceptions, communication, contestation. In today‘s world, the success of EU foreign policy depends on the EU‘s ability to instantaneously respond to stimuli and pressures originating from both the international and the intra-EU levels. A central objective of the action is to derive theoretically informed, policy relevant advice for the EU’s strategic approach to its international relations, its communication, and for dealing with the interaction between internal and external challenges.Over the past four years, this has been achieved with great success in the framework of Action ENTER by building multinational, multidisciplinary collaboration at the interface of policy fields and research communities that have not communicated sufficiently with each other in the past. Substantial efforts have been made to bridge the gap between science and practitioners, synthesising knowledge, promoting shared insights and informing EU foreign policy. In this respect, at the “COST Action ENTER – Final Conference”, members of the action and the group leaders of the four ENTER Working Groups will present a selection of the key results to a broader audience and the public. The event will be held digitally only. Extra registration is only necessary for two events. All information can be found in the Conference Programme.
